Permalink Haven’t posted in a while because I was in a bit of a funk after the show. It was tough to find some motivation to do anything after I reached that goal. That being said…I did this to help the issue. Maybe it will motivate you as well.

Permalink Well I guess I should update this now eh?? The show went great, it was an amazing experience. One that I never dreamed of having. I took 3rd place and qualified for nationals in South Beach, hahaha. I won’t be making that trip this year, but who knows what the future holds. It’s been a long journey from the kid who weighed 185 lbs, drank Sam Adams like it was water and used to eat Burger King fish sandwiches almost daily. It was a lifestyle change, and I’m glad I made it. I’ll never push my beliefs on anyone but happy to share my knowledge if asked. If you’re focused and have the determination, you can accomplish anything. I never liked the question “how long did it take for you to get in great shape”? In any case, it takes as long as you let it. The bigger the changes the quicker the result. My journey may be longer than yours. That part doesn’t matter, enjoy YOUR journey. Big thank you’s to my girl Andi for bearing with me through this. My fav gym girl “2 Scoop” Krista who kept me motivated even when I didn’t want to do another set of crunches. Youre the best! Paul and the good people at Powerhouse gym who made every tool available at anytime to help my progress! Thank you for the tans and the gear as well!! An most special….Thank you to my mom and dad who drove 2 an a half hours to see their son stand on stage for 60 seconds, that meant the world to me. There are so may others that I didn’t mention but will never forget how hard you pushed me, I’ll forever be in your debt. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all….I’ll see you on another stage soon! =)!!!
